Super Bowl Picks

Giants vs. Packers - The Packers will win this game pretty handily. Brett Favre is out of his mind this year, especially during playoffs, at Lambeau. Eli Manning has certainly matured, but not enough to beat Favre on his home turf. Also, the emergence of Ryan Grant has given Greey Bay a legit running attack, which they have not had since the earlier years of Ahman Green. With this new running game available, Brett doesnt have to throw 40 times a game, which was when he was throwin all those picks a few years ago. The Giants can certainly compliment with a great running game of their own, but they just dont have enough experience to beat the Pack. Final Score: Packers 31, Giants 21

Pats vs. Chargers - This one wont even be close. I saw the Patriots play for the first time last week, and their offense in unstoppable. Their first punt came with 30 seconds left in the game. The Jags played a GREAT game, but they still lost by 10. Tom Brady picked them apart with short little 7 yard passes, complimented by 12o yards from Laurence Maroney. He'll do the same to the ailing Chargers. San Diego's offense is hurting with Rivers, Tomlinson, and Gates all nursing injuries. The defense is good, but simply not good enough to stop the Pats. The Colts had a lot of bad luck, including those tipped interceptions from Manning, and the Chargers only won by 3. The Pat's dont have bad luck, ever. Final Score: Pats 34, Chargers 20
